Why not try a party with a difference this year! Funky Art House hosts an exciting and diverse range of craft activities. Remember it doesn't have to be a birthday party, you may just want to get a group of friends together and try something different or why not come along as part of a hen do for a day to remember.

Mosaics Learn to make coasters from recycled china, glass and found objects and then move on to design and produce your own unique mosaic mirror or photoframe. You may want to bring along some objects to make it more personal to you - broken necklaces, shells, china etc.
Stenciling Produce your own one of a kind design. Learn the techniques of this versitile skill to produce your own cushion covers.
Textiles Explore various techniques including embroidery, applique and pattern cutting to produce unique bunting for your home. Bring along any material you have to upcycle in to something fabulous!
Clay Woking with air drying clay explore various techniques to make a key hock for your home. Use relief, impressions and beads to decorate your work.
Papercrafts Begin by exploring marbelling to make some beautiful papers. Then discover the craft of decoupage, the art of decorating objects by glueing coloured cut outs on to it. please bring along images to use in your decoupage.
Location: It's up to you where you choose to have your party - Whether it’s at your house or a venue of your choice (community hall, church hall etc), Funky Art House help create an unforgettable day.
We are closley linked to the lovely Alice park cafe for parties, situated on the Eastern edge of Bath. They provide the catering and marquee and we provide the arty fun - the complete package! For more info about Alice Park click here. (Please note you need to contact Alice Park directly for booking) Other venues we highly recommend are New Oriel Hall, Larkhall and the Learning Centre at the Botanical Gardens, Bath (only avaliable in school holidays).
For a small charge of just £20 you may wish to have your party or get together at our studio at Bath Artists Studio. (Please note places are limited to 6 for this venue)
Pricing and duration of parties: Prices are £20 per person. The minumim number for a party is 6. An Arty Party will last around 2 hours.
We require a 50% deposit to book a party.
You are welcome to bring along food and drink. We provide afternoon tea as part of the workshop.
