'Homemade' and mosaic- Adult Craft Course
During the courses there will be the opportunity to make fabulous and entirely unique crafts. Learn new skills and make new friends along the way in our very relaxed, popular class. All materials included & all abilities welcome. Refreshments provided.
HOMEMADE COURSE
The course covers a variety of projects and materials each term - mosaics, soft furnishings, seasonal decorations, ceramics, weaving and more. Projects often have an emphasis on up-cycling - turning old & unused materials into new and unique pieces of art. Get thrifty making presents for friends, revamping old objects and saving your pennies all at the same time!
Next half term we will be exploring clay techniques, rafia weaving and a textile project.

MOSAICS
Learn to make coasters from recycled china, glass and found objects and then move on to design and produce your own unique mosaic mirror, photoframe and 3D object. The course covers various mosaic techniques with an emphasis on upcycling. You may want to bring along some objects to make it more personal to you - broken necklaces, shells, china etc.

Tutor: Jo Milford. Jo is a qualified Art Teacher. She is a practicing artist with a BA(hons) in 3D Design - Glass with ceramics & sculpture and has exhibited her work in the U.K and internationally. She also holds a City & Guilds Adult Teaching Qualification.
Jo says 'we want to help you put your own personal touches to into your homes by teaching some traditional crafts with a contemporary feel. We want you to be proud of the end result having created something yourself seeing it through from start to finish.'
