Case study
Swainswick Primary School - Bath. May 2010
Curriculum Enhancement Project . As part of Larkhall festival in Bath Funky Art House worked with years 3 and 4 children to design and create a fantastic funky eco bag to take home. Children explored sea life imagery to create and decorate a canvas bag to use again and again as a their school bag, to hold their football kit or for shopping. Children were encouraged to make connections between environmental issues with using plastic bags and the impact on sea life. The workshop was a great success with a lively discussion on environmental issues and each pupil produced a brilliant piece of useful art.
