Funky Art House run creative craft workshops and events at various locations in the South West area. These include;- primary and secondary schools, museums, festivals, community centres, parks and outdoor spaces, weddings, parties, fun days and community or corporate events.
Funky Art House believes art should be fun - without pressure and accessible to everyone whatever their ability. The vision is to set up and run a friendly and inviting space in which to explore creativity, 'try something new' and make new friends along the way.
We are committed to helping anyone who wants to be creative, learn new skills, and make quality, funky, crafty things!
Funky Art House is run by a team of professional dedicated CRB checked instructors. All our staff have a background in the arts and teaching and have many years of experience running art and craft activities with children and adults.
Funky Art House is a family run business managed by two sisters from the Bath area. - Jo and Amy Milford. Jo is a qualified secondary Art Teacher and has taught in various schools in the Bath area as well as private art tutoring. She is also a practicing artist with a degree in 3D design - Glass with ceramics/sculpture and holds an adult teaching qualification (City & Guilds). Images of Jo's Glass Work
Amy has worked in various primary schools in teaching assistant roles and helped run artistic activities in schools and educational departments of museums. Amy's specialism is in textiles.
They are both practicing artists and together have many years of experience running art and craft activities with children and adults.
We are committed to providing a truly unique experience tailor made to our clients needs and are very adaptable in coming up with new and inspiring ideas. We are more than happy to discuss your individual needs for an event or workshops.
