Funky Art House provides a variety of inspirational Arts and Craft Workshops for various age groups.
We are keen to start up more after school clubs run directly from schools in the Bath/Bristol/Wiltshire area. So, if you work in education and are looking for clubs to run at your school or your a parent who thinks our workshops would go down well in your childrens school please contact us!
We currently run after school craft clubs at the following Schools:-
Saltford Primary School
Holt Primary School (Wilts)
Moorlands Junior School (Bath)
Oldfield Junior School (Bath)
Below is a list of workshops we can provide:
Primary/Junior Schools :- Key Stage 1 &2
Funky Craft Club: Children will learn new artistic skills and have lots of fun along the way. Workshops will range from seasonal and themed crafts such as making Christmas decorations or mothers day gifts, to taking inspiration from different Artists and Cultures such as the Chinese new year. There will be lots of opportunity to explore different materials such as clay, willow and collage and learn new skills such as sewing, construction and team work.
Secondary Schools :- Key Stage 3
Funky Craft Club: The workshops have a strong emphasis on learning new skills. Children will have the opportunity to explore lots of areas of art and design such as clay, sculpture and textiles. Through short projects children will develop a foundation of knowledge in arts and crafts and produce some fantastic items to take home. Past projects have included making a unique pencil case or bag, clay name plaques and willow sculpture.
Extension tasks will be provided for older children and extra help, templates etc for the younger ones.
Pricing:
Clubs will run termly in 6 week blocks where possible. We would like children to sign up for the full term. Each craft club will run for 1 hour after school. We can take up to 20 children in each club.
Price per child per six week term: £27 (£18 + £9 materials cost, all work produced can be taken home)
(Price per child per session: £3 + £1.50)
If you are interested in any workshops specifically we can provide taster sessions in the first week of term at a minimal materials only cost. We can also provide posters to promote the clubs and information and permission slips.
Please note, the above workshops are suggestions. If there are any specific workshops you require please let us know. For example specific skill based workshops in sculpture and construction, sewing and weaving etc.
