Craft Events for Children

Below is a list of some of our themed workshops that work fantastically at family fun days, corporate events, community festivals etc. Workshops run on a continuous basis throughout the day and work best as a drop in format. Guests are free to join in with the crafts at anytime during the day and all completed projects can be taken home as a wonderful memory of the event. Some workshops can also be combined with magical hunts – a great addition to the crafts.

Nature Crafts: Choose from either …
- Bug & Butterfly Clay Creations *
- Flower Fairies & leaf monsters *
- Decorate your own flowerpot *
Pirates & Mermaids:- Transform yourself into a beautiful mermaid or swashbuckling pirate by making your own pirate hat or mermaid crown. *
Princess and knights:- Make a princess tiara or knights shield and decorate with gems, sequins and more. *
Carnival masks:- Decorate your mask using feathers, sequins, ribbons and sparkles. The only limit is your imagination!
Funky Eco Bag:- Create and decorate a funky canvas bag using fabric pens, sequins and a variety of stencils to produce a unique bag to take home.
Funky frames:- Transform a photo frame into a fabulous piece of art using foam, sparkles, gems and more.
Magical Treasure Hunts- *
Grounds permitting all workshops marked with an astrex can be combined with a magical hunt. Hosted by a fancy dressed leader to fit your theme, hunts blend interactive storytelling, magical quests and lots of running around- a perfect combination to keep children engaged and full of imagination.
Nature Active Art - Join in with the nature themed hunt & take part in artistic tasks hidden around the grounds. Complete all tasks to be rewarded with a prize. Get the kids out and about - being active without even realizing it!
Pirate Crusade! - Get involved in a treasure hunt with secret messages to decode and help find the forgetful pirates missing treasure chest to be rewarded with a prize. Yo ho ho my hearties, it’s a pirates life for me!
Princess & Knights – Learn the counter spell to turn the frog back into a prince. Help return the crown jewels that have been scattered across the kingdom by the wicked witch to claim your reward.

Format:
Each craft takes approx 20min to complete and all children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Funky Art House is run by a team of professional dedicated CRB checked instructors. All our staff have a background in the Arts and Teaching and have many years of experience running Art & Craft activities with children.
