Funky Art House craft activities - 9 and over

Mon: Summer time crafts: Funky Beach Bag and Badges
Get  ready for summer by creating and decorating a Funky beach bag. Use it again and again for your holidays, as a new school bag or to hold your football kit. Next get involved in a giant beach scene Art Attack challenge & make summer badges.

Tues: Clay Creations
Explore the variety of fabulous effects you can achieve with clay. Make and decorate a unique door plaque for your room & move on to experiment with pinch pots, coil pots and more!

Wed: Willow  Sculpture - Giant Bug or Butterfly!
Construct a giant bug or beautiful butterfly sculpture using withy willow & tissue paper. This workshop involves team work, planning & construction skills. Take inspiration from participating in  a huge insect Art Attack challenge.

Thurs: Weaving and sewing with a difference

Learn how to make beautiful fabrics from recycled materials. You don't need expensive equipment to weave. A cardboard box can easily turn into a loom. Start by making a weaved bracelet and progress on to circular weave or hanging. A great project that can easily be continued at home.

Fri: Krazy Kaleidoscopes
Create your very own kaleidoscope using a tube, mirrors, beads, glitter and all things sparkly! Change the shape of the mirrors to change the pattern. Decorate the outside with a section of a giant paint and glitter picture we will be making as part of the workshop. A truly exciting activity!
