Our adult craft workshops explore a variety of craft techniques and projects with the intention of making something practical and unique for your home, for yourself or as a gift. Come along for a creative, fun and relaxed day & learn new skills that can be easily carried on at home. All workshops are run from our studio at Bath Artists’ Studios. All abilities welcome & all materials are included as well as afternoon tea.

Felt Learn to make and use felt in a variety of ways including needle felting, wet felting, and embroidery techniques to produce a practical felt item such as a needle book, glasses case or broach. £35 including all materials, tea/coffee & cake.

Discover Decopatch -  Discover the versatile technique of decopatch to produce a unique keep-sake box. Use a variety of pretty papers to create your design. £35 including all materials, tea/coffee & cake.

Textiles: Bunting Make your own bunting using a variety of fabrics to produce a unique and practical item for your home. Attach them together with bias binding and learn a range of techniques to decorate your finished item. You may wish to bring along your own material to make it more personal to you. £35 including all materials, tea/coffee & cake.

Tea Cup Decorating - Make afternoon tea even more delightful with your own customised tea cup and saucer. Chose from a variety of stencils or come along with your own ideas. £35 including all materials, tea/coffee & cake.

Mosaics - 
Discover the wonderful world of mosaics using glass, china, beads, shells, jems and more. Start by making a test tile and then produce your very own mirror. You may want to bring along some of your own materials to make it more personal to you. £35 including all materials, tea/coffee & cake.

Fabric Accessories -  Learn a variety of clever embellishment techniques to create wonderful accessories using fabric, lace, ribbons, buttons and beads. £35 including all materials, tea/coffee & cake.

Tutor: Jo Milford. Jo is a qualified Art Teacher. She is a practicing artist with a BA (hons) in 3D Design – Glass with ceramics & sculpture and has exhibited her work in the U.K and internationally. She also holds a City & Guilds Adult Teaching Qualification.

Jo says ‘we want to help you put your own personal touches to into your homes by teaching some traditional crafts with a contemporary feel. We want you to be proud of the end result having created something yourself seeing it through from start to finish.’

Parking: There is parking all around the Royal Victoria Park. Alternatively Charlotte Street car park is approx 5 min walking distance from the studios.

Extra Courses: Subject to demand extra courses are regularly added to our schedule. Alternatively- fancy getting a group of friends together for some fun crafting activities? All our one-day craft courses can be booked exclusively with a minimum of six attending the class. Please do get in contact with any enquiries stating which craft you are interested in and your preferred date for the workshop. Both weekday and weekend dates available.
