Why not try a party with a difference this year! Funky Art House hosts an exciting and diverse range of craft activities. Remember it doesn’t have to be a birthday party, you may just want to get a group of friends together and try something different as a day to remember.

Mosaic
Learn to make a mosaic coaster/tile using glass tesserae tiles. Next move on to create a unique hanging mosaic piece of art.
Print and Pattern: Learn simple print methods to create a piece of art to be proud of. Next use engraving paper to create a patterned front cover for a note book.
Clay
Use polymer clay techniques to create a small practical item such as a magnet, broach or button. Next work with air drying clay to create a clay slab pot. Use relief, impressions and beads to decorate your work.
Tea Cup Decorating
Make afternoon tea even more delightful with your own customised tea cup and saucer. Chose from a variety of stencils or come along with your own ideas. Alternatively a mug and coaster can be chosen instead.
Flower Crowns
Learn to make a fabulous flower crown using artificial flowers so your creation will be a lasting memory of your day.
Felting Learn wet felting techniques to create a felted item using soft and colourful merino wool. We will then cover needle felting techniques to create a unique felted piece of art or practical item such as a broach or key-ring.
Fabric Accessories Learn a variety of clever embellishment techniques to create wonderful accessories using fabric, lace, ribbons, buttons and beads. Use these techniques to create fabric corsages, broaches or hair accessories.
Applique & Fabric Design Produce your own one of a kind design. Learn the techniques of these versatile skills to decorate a re-usable canvas bag, cushion cover or embroidery hoop art.

Location: We are a mobile company based in Bath so we can travel to you and set up a fabulous, crafty party with all the materials and equipment needed in any venue of your choice in Bath or the surrounding areas. All we need is a table and chairs for all the crafting to happen. Please note there will be an additional travel charge for venues more than 15 miles away from Bath. We are also able to recommend a range of lovely venues in Bath, Bristol and the surrounding areas. Please get in contact for more details.
Alternatively for a small charge of just £40 you may wish to have your Hen do at our studio at Bath Artists Studios (Bath BA13AJ). Please note places are limited to 12 people for our studio or subject to availability you can hire the large gallery space or school room for £80. With both these venues we would set up and tidy away the space for you with tables/ chairs and some decorations (bunting, table covers etc).
Tutors: Learn all the skills needed to make your craft item from one of our knowledgeable tutors. All tutors have many years of experience teaching craft workshops.
Pricing and duration of parties: Prices are £30 per person. The minimum number for a party is 8. The party will last around 2 hours.
