After School Art Class: Ages 10-16

Summer Term 2025: Every Wednesday : 30th April – 9th July 2025, 5.45pm – 6.45pm (half term break 28th May) . Classes run every week during school term time. The class continues throughout the year.
Art Class for older pupils interested in extending their creative studies. The class mostly has a focus on drawing/ painting techniques such as sketching, line drawing, acrylics, watercolours, illustration, perspective, proportion etc. We then finish each term with a 3D/ craft based project such as clay, print, mosaic, textiles, sculpture, graffiti. Students will also learn about famous artists, enter competitions, exhibit their work in exhibitions and create a portfolio. A great class for older children to develop their artistic skills, have fun and make new friends.How to book:

Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. Once payment has been received, we will email a registration form and extra info with directions etc to the email address the booking was made in. We ask pupils to sign up for the full term but trial sessions are available for a one off fee for new pupils. Please get in contact if you would like to pay in two installments. Price includes all materials.

Where: Art club will run in the Funky Art House Studio at Bath Artists’ Studios, The Old Malthouse, Comfortable Place, Upper Bristol Road, Bath BA1 3AJ. please click here for directions. Feel free to give us a ring on 07737615152 if you have any problems finding us.
Tutor: All tutors have many years of experience teaching Children’s art classes. Each tutor is fully DBS checked and has public liability insurance.
Parking: There is parking in Victoria Park which is just a short walk away and is free for one hour. Alternatively Charlotte Street car park is approx 5 min walking distance from the studios. There are disabled parking spaces right outside the gallery at Bath Artists’ studios but unfortunately there is no other parking on site.
What to bring: All equipment and materials will be provided. Aprons will also be provided but it is always a good idea to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy just in case.
