Creative Parties for Ages 8 + (birthday child turning 8 and their friends aged 7+. Younger children welcome to join in with help from an adult)
£20 per child, minimum of 10 children, 1.5 hour workshop.
An exciting and diverse range of craft activities for a fabulously fun creative Birthday Party! With all parties children begin by decorating their own reusable canvas party bags, which can then be used to take their creations home in. Guests will then be taught various skills & produce fantastic & useful art work to take home as a memory of the special day.
Pencil Case Decorating
Design and decorate a Pencil Case using fabric stamps, pens, buttons, applique and simple sewing to produce a unique and useful item.
Mosaic
Take inspiration from the Romans of Bath to produce a mosaic piece of art using colourfull ceramic tesserae tiles. Next create a mosaic notebook using shiny colourful foil tiles.
Fabric Animals
Create a sock animal soft cuddly toy and use felt to create animal decorations.
Clay & Paper Creatures- Animals or Monsters
Make a clay model and origami hanging inspired by amasing animals or creepy creatures.
Clay Creations- Pottery
Explore the variety of fabulous effects you can achieve with air drying clay. Make a clay pot for your treasures and decorate with beads and gems.
Nature Crafts
Get inspired by nature using wooden log slices, clay and pegs to create beetles, bugs, bees, butterflies and a shiny mosaic snail.
Arty Canvases/ Sketchbook
Like a real artist create an arty canvas or unique decorated sketch book using pattern and print techniques.
Bespoke Parties
If there are any other themes or activities you would like at your party but do not see in our list, please do let us know and we shall see what we can do! Please note for a bespoke party there may be an additional charge.

You Need To
Arrange the venue and food – whether it’s at your house or a venue of your choice (community hall, youth club, church hall etc)
Our studio in Bath may also be available to hire for £40 for up to 12 children or the larger school room at £80 for larger parties (subject to availability venue at Bath Artists’ Studios, BA1 3AJ)
Provide tables and chairs (if not at our studio)
Be responsible for children at all times
Provide a £60 deposit (non refundable) on booking the Arty Party

An Arty Party workshop will last 1.5 hours. Parents often chose to have food after the crafts making the party 2 hours in total . We will need 30 mins before the children arrive to set up and around 15 minutes at the end to pack up.
Funky Art House Arty Parties are based in Bath, Avon, but we are willing to travel (there may be an additional cost for travel) Contact for details.
