Bath Teen Summer Art Club 2018: Ages 11-16
13th – 17h August; 9.30am – 3.30pm, early and late pick up available
Ages 11-16, £38 per day or £170 for the whole week (£20 discount) @ Bath Artists’ Studios, BA1 3AJ
Keep the teenagers entertained over the holidays by exploring a variety of arts and crafts in a real artists studio centre- mosaic, textiles, felting, drawing, print, clay, painting and more. A great way to spend the holidays having fun, making new friends & learning new creative skills. All materials included and all abilities welcome. Please bring a packed lunch. Teen Art Club covers more advanced artistic techniques and projects than the Children’s Art Club.
Teen Summer Art Club 2018: Ages 11-16
Monday13th August, £38- Sun Photography & Graphiti: Fully Booked. Experiment and learn about sun photography, & take inspiration from the artists Banksy & Andy Warhol to create graffiti/pop art using stencils, spray paint & print techniques.
Tuesday 14th August, £38- Drawing People, Illustration & Sculpture. Fully Boooked. Learn how to draw people from real life, how to develop characters and change their expressions and how to create a sculpture using a wire armature.
Wednesday 15th August, £38- Textiles, Felt & Polymer Clay: Fully Booked. Create a lined, fabric pencil case/ purse. Learn to cut a pattern, insert a zip, use a sewing machine, add applique and use hand sewing techniques to create the unique and useful item. Use soft and colourful merino woo to create a felt decoration
Thursday 16th Aug, £38 - Pottery & Mosaic: Fully Booked. Create a pencil pot using slab building techniques. Take inspiration from the Romans of Bath to create a mosaic piece of art using ceramic tiles and grout.
Friday 17th Aug, £38 – Portfolio Day: Portraits, Still Life & Landscapes. Fully Booked. Learn how to draw each of the features of the face and learn about proportions to create a realistic portrait. Learn how to add light & shade and use blending techniques with acrylic paints to create a still life and landscape painting. All art work created will then be displayed in a showcase at the end of the day.
Full Week Art Club, 13th – 17th Aug: £170 (£20 discount) Children attending all five days will receive a £20 discount and get the chance to document their creations in their own sketchbook/ art portfolio.

Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. Once payment has been received we will email a registration form to the email address the booking was made in within one week.
Early & Late Pick Up: Early & late pick up can be arranged at a cost of £8 per hour. Please contact us with details to pre book.
