Bath Children’s Summer Art Club 2018: Ages 7-11
13th August- 17th August; 9.30am – 3.30pm, early and late pick up available. Ages 7-11, £35 per day including all materials or £155 for the whole week (£20 discount) @ Bath Artists’ Studios, BA1 3AJ.
Keep the kids entertained over the holidays by exploring a variety of arts and crafts in a real artists’ studio centre- mosaic, clay, textiles, print, drawing and more. A great way to spend the holidays having fun, making new friends & learning new creative skills.
As well as creating some fantastic items to take home there will also be the opportunity to take part in fun group art activities- creating drawings on the floor and walls, BIG art, tiny art, sand art, string art, junk art, outdoor art, mandala art, chalk art, science art, mindful art and more!
All materials included and all abilities welcome. Please bring a packed lunch.
Children’s Summer Art Club 2018: Ages 7 -11
Monday 13th August, £35- Science Art: Fully Booked. Experiment and learn about sun photography, oil inks, illusion art, colour experiments and Kaleidoscopes to create unique and useful creations.
Tuesday 14th August, £35- Drawing people, Illustration & Sculpture. Fully Booked. Learn how to draw people from real life, how to develop characters and change their expressions to create illustrations and how to make a sculpture using a wire armature.
Wednesday15th August, £35- Pottery, Ceramic Painting & Still Life: Fully Booked. Create a clay pencil pot using slab building pottery techniques. Use ceramic paints to decorate a useful ceramic item and learn drawing and shading techniques to create a still life piece of art.
Thursday 16th Aug, £35 - Textiles, Felt & Polymer Clay: Fully Booked. Create a cuddly toy animal/ monster using buttons, pom-poms, applique and sewing skills. Use soft and colourful merino wool to create a felt decoration and use relief techniques to create tiny clay bunting.
Friday 17th Aug, £35 - Mosaic, Print & Landscapes: Fully Booked. Take inspiration from the Romans of Bath to create a mosaic piece of art using ceramic tiles and grout. Learn techniques to draw, paint and print landscapes. All art work created will then be displayed in a showcase at the end of the day.
Full Week Art Club, 13th Aug – 17th Aug: £155 (£20 discount) Children attending all five days will receive a sketchbook to document their creations and will also get the chance to work towards a showcase of their work at the end of the week.

Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. Once payment has been received a registration form will be sent to the email address that made the booking within one week.
Early & Late Pick Up: Early & late pick up can be arranged at a cost of £8 per hour. Please contact us with details to pre book.
