Children’s Summer Art Club 2014: Ages 7-11
11th – 15th August; 9.30am – 3.30pm, early and late pick up available
Ages 7-11, £35 per day or £155 (£20 discount) for the whole week @ Bath Artists’ Studios, BA1 3AJ
Keep the kids entertained over the holidays by exploring a variety of arts and crafts in a real artists studio centre- mosaic, clay, textiles, print, drawing and more. A great way to spend the holidays having fun, making new friends & learning new creative skills. All materials included and all abilities welcome. Please bring a packed lunch.
Special Offer: £20 Discount for booking the full week. Children attending the whole week will receive a sketchbook to document their creations throughout the week and also get the chance to work towards a special gallery showcase of their work at Bath Artists’ Studios.

Children’s Summer Art Club: Ages 7 -11
Monday Summer Club £35 - Mosaic & Portraits: Take inspiration from the Romans of Bath to create a mosaic photo frame. Learn about famous portraits and use these ideas and techniques to create a self portrait to be displayed in your frame.
Tuesday Summer Club £35- Paper-Crafts & Illustration: Discover decopatch to decorate a one of a kind jewelry/ treasure box. Next learn how to develop characters to create an illustrated picture book. Create a front cover using marbled paper- a fun technique where ink is floated on water to produce unique patterns.
Wednesday Summer Club £35- Clay Creations: Create a clay slab pot and hanging decorations and decorate ceramics using ceramic pens and paints.
Thursday Summer Club £35- Textiles: Learn pattern cutting, applique, sewing and construction to create an animal/ monster cushion. Use stenciling, felt and sewing techniques to decorate a canvas bag and badges.
Friday Summer Club £35- Draw, Print, Paint: Take inspiration from a local Bath artist to create an arty canvas. Learn about design, painting and print to make a patterned background. Next learn still life techniques to produce a realistic piece to be displayed on the canvas.
Full Week Children’s Summer Club £155 (£20 discount)
Early & Late Pick Up: Early & late pick up can be arranged at a cost of £6 per hour. Please contact us with details to pre book.
