Bath Children’s Summer Art Club 2017: Ages 7-11
31st July – 4th August; 9.30am – 3.30pm, early and late pick up available. Ages 7-11, £35 per day including all materials (£28 early bird rate) or £155 (£140 early bird rate) for the whole week (£20 discount) @ Bath Artists’ Studios, BA1 3AJ.
Keep the kids entertained over the holidays by exploring a variety of arts and crafts in a real artists’ studio centre- mosaic, clay, textiles, print, drawing and more. A great way to spend the holidays having fun, making new friends & learning new creative skills.
As well as creating some fantastic items to take home there will also be the opportunity to take part in fun group art activities- creating drawings on the floor and walls, BIG art, tiny art, sand art, string art, junk art, outdoor art, mandala art, chalk art and more!
All materials included and all abilities welcome. Please bring a packed lunch.
Children’s Summer Art Club 2017: Ages 7 -11
Monday July 31st, £35- Sketching & Painting: Take inspiration from the modern artist Jackson Pollock to create a fun splatter art canvas. Learn tips on creating realistic drawings and paintings using shading, proportion, perspective and watercolour skills.
Tuesday 1st August, £35- Print & Mosaic: Take inspiration from the artist Klimt to create a metallic print magnet using pattern design, block print and embossing techniques. Take inspiration from the Romans of Bath to create a mosaic jewelry/money box using ceramic tiles and grout.
Wednesday 2nd August, £35- Textiles & ceramic painting: Create a unique fabric item using tie dye, applique and sewing skills. Use ceramic pens and paints to decorate a useful ceramic piece of art.
Thursday 3rd Aug, £35 - Clay Creations & Illustration:Create a clay candle holder using slab building techniques. Create an illustrated picture book by learning how to develop characters and change their expressions.
Friday 4th Aug, £35 – Felting & Paper-Crafts: Discover the art of decopatch to decorate a box frame. Next learn the traditional craft of wet felting- using soft merino wool to create a colourful felt square which wil be presented in your frame. All art work created will then be displayed in a showcase at the end of the day.

Early & Late Pick Up: Early & late pick up can be arranged at a cost of £8 per hour. Please contact us with details to pre book.
