Themed Parties. Ages 5+
£15 per child, Minimum of 10 children, 1.5 hour workshops.
Funky Art House offers a range of enchanting children’s craft workshops blending art, interactive storytelling and magical quests- a perfect combination to keep children engaged and full of imagination. All themed parties are hosted by two fancy dressed workshop leaders to fit your theme. So whether that’s a pirate and mermaid or Alice and the Queen of Hearts its guaranteed to set the scene! With all parties children begin by decorating their own reusable canvas party bags with stencils, fabric pens, ribbons etc. Each party is also broken up with a game or hunt with a prize at the end.
Choose from one of the following themes:- Suitable for 5 + (turning 6)
Pirates & Mermaids – Make your own pirate inspired outfit – Pirate hat or mermaid crown and your very own treasure box. Then get involved in a treasure hunt with secret messages to decode and a piratey prize at the end. Yo ho ho my hearties, it’s a pirates life for me!
Fairy and Pixies – Transform yourself into a sparkling fairy or pixie by making fairy wings and a magic wand & begin your enchanting quest. Follow the clues to find hidden magic charms, make a fairy spell and be rewarded with a present from the fairies. May all your magical wishes come true.
Outer Space Party- Make your own weird & wonderful monster mask and go on a planet hunt to help Marty the Martian find his way home and be rewarded with a prize. Next make a clay alien friend with a million eyes or three mouths- the only limit is your imagination!
Princess & Knight Party – Make your own beautiful tiara or Knights crown. Help return the crown jewels that have been scattered across the kingdom by the wicked witch. Decorate your own treasure or jewellery box and learn the counter spell to turn the frog back into a prince to claim your reward.
Alice in Wonderland – Decorate your own tea party cup. Complete Alice’s tasks by making shrinking potions and painting roses red and be rewarded with a treat. Next make a white rabbit or Cheshire cat felt magnet. Don’t be late for a very important date – meet you in wonderland!
Bugs and Butterflies – Get crafty making bug or butterfly wings and creepy crawly/butterfly clay creations. Then go on a hunt to help transform the caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly and be rewarded with a prize.
Carnival Costumes – Create your own bright and brilliant outfits – elaborate masks and a colourful cape or tutu. Next take part in a parade to show off your wonderful creations to win a carnival prize.

You Need To
Arrange the venue and food- whether it’s at your house or a venue of your choice (community hall, youth club, church hall etc)
Provide tables & chairs for the crafting
Be responsible for children at all times
Provide a 50% deposit (non refundable) on booking the Arty Party

Remember all parties are hosted by two fancy dressed workshop leaders to fit your theme. So whether that’s a pirate and mermaid or Alice and the Queen of Hearts its guaranteed to set the scene!
An Arty Party workshop will last an hour and a half. With younger children we tend to split up the tasks with a hunt in the middle and food at the end (making the party 2 hours in total with 1.5 hours of crafts). We will need 30 mins before the children arrive to set up and 30 minutes to pack up at the end.
If there are any other themes or activities you would like at your party but do not see in our list, please do let us know and we shall see what we can do! Please note for a bespoke party there may be an additional charge.
Funky Art House Arty Parties are based in Bath, Avon but we are willing to travel (there may be an additional cost for travel) Contact for details.
