Christmas Glass Fusing Day Course for adults @ Bath Artists’ Studios

Description: Learn about fused glass and all its wonderful possibilities! Come and enjoy a lovely festive experience. In the morning session design and make your own glass jewellery or small gift hangings for presents or for yourself!. In the afternoon session we will explore making Christmas decorations with extra sparkle! or stay all day and make both!! You will learn the basics of cutting sheet glass as well as inclusions, stringers, frits, powders and more. The workshop is ideal for both beginners and those with some glass experience.
No prior experience is necessary. There will be lots of design ideas available. All glass is provided but if you wanted to make something bigger it will be charged accordingly.
Please either bring lunch or there are a few lovely cafes in walking distance if attending the full day course.
The work will be fired and available to collect shortly after the course or I can post at an additional charge of £5.

Where: Fused Glass classes will run from our studio at Bath Artists’ Studios, The Old Malthouse, Comfortable Place, Upper Bristol Road, Bath BA1 3AJ. Please click here for directions. The entrance to the studio is in the car park of Bath Artists’ Studios, I will wait outside and take everyone through. If your running late for any reason please don’t worry, just give me a call and I can come and collect you from the front of the building. Please phone 07954363467 if you have any problems.
We will review COVID 19 prevention measures nearer the time if needed.
Tutor: All tutors have many years of experience teaching art classes. Each tutor is fully 
CRB checked and has full public liability insurance. The tutor has a BA (Hons) Degree in Three Dimensional Design in Glass and a post graduate in Glass Techniques and Technology.
Parking: There is street parking opposite the studio on Upper Bristol Road which is free for two hours. There is also parking in Victoria Park which is just a short walk away. Alternatively Charlotte Street car park is approx 5 min walking distance from the studios. There are disabled parking spaces right outside the gallery at Bath Artists’ studios but unfortunately there is no other parking on site.
