Please note: For those unable to make our main Summer Holiday Art Club Workshops running on the 30th July- 4th August, we will be running a few additional dates as listed below. These sessions will run in a smaller studio space so unfortunately we are unable to offer an early bird discount or run an exhibition at the end of the week. Sorry to disappoint 
Bath Children’s Summer Art Club 2017: Ages 7-11
15th Aug – 18th August; 9.30am – 3.30pm, early and late pick up available. Ages 7-11, £35 per day including all materials or £125 for all four days (£15 discount) @ Bath Artists’ Studios, BA1 3AJ.
Keep the kids entertained over the holidays by exploring a variety of arts and crafts in a real artists’ studio centre- mosaic, clay, textiles, print, drawing and more. A great way to spend the holidays having fun, making new friends & learning new creative skills.
As well as creating some fantastic items to take home there will also be the opportunity to take part in fun group art activities- BIG art, tiny art, sand art, junk art, outdoor art, mandala art, chalk art and more!
All materials included and all abilities welcome. Please bring a packed lunch.
Children’s Summer Art Club 2017: Ages 7 -11
Tuesday 15th August, £35- Print & Mosaic: Take inspiration from the artist Klimt to create a metallic print magnet using pattern design, block print and embossing techniques. Take inspiration from the Romans of Bath to create a mosaic jewelry/money box using ceramic tiles and grout.
Wednesday 16th August, £35- Sketching & Painting: Learn a variety of drawing & painting techniques- how to draw from real life, tips on proportion and perspective, adding tone and shading and how to paint using acrylics. Use these skills to create a final piece of art on canvas.
Thursday 17th Aug, £35 - Clay Creations & Textiles :Create a clay candle holder using slab building techniques. Create a unique fabric item using tie dye, applique and sewing skills.
Friday 18th Aug, £35 – Felting & Paper-Crafts : Discover the art of decopatch to decorate a box frame. Next learn the traditional craft of wet felting- using soft merino wool to create a colourful felt square which will be presented in your frame.

Early & Late Pick Up: Early & late pick up can be arranged at a cost of £8 per hour. Please contact us with details to pre book.
