Workshop Details
Have fun over the holidays exploring a variety of arts and crafts activities. This is a great way to spend your holiday being artistic, whilst making new friends and learning new creative skills. Funky Art House provides tuition in an exciting and diverse range of artistic techniques and will help you to produce fantastic and useful creations to take home with you. You will have the opportunity to take inspiration from professional artists’ own work and develop your own design skills and creative ideas. Some different artistic techniques will be covered during each workshop.

Bag for life workshop at The Pound Arts Centre, Corsham with Funky Art House

1pm – 3pm, ages 11-14

A fabric bag painting and stencilling workshop. Come design and decorate a fab canvas bag using fabric paints, pens and ribbons.

Choose from a variety of stencils to produce a unique practical item to take home.

Friday 31st May – Clay bugs and butterfly workshop and bug hunt. Cancelled – (We are very sorry for the late notice)

Get crafty making creepy crawly or butterfly clay creations. Then go on a bug hunt around the beautiful Hillworth Park to find the different bugs and be rewarded with a prize.

Either pay online- please click here,  or just turn up on the day subject to availability. The clay creations last for approx 15 mins then the hunt after the clay creations for a further 15 mins. Activities run at 11.00am, 12.00pm and 1.00pm. £5 per session.

Including Mask Making for the Alice Park Parade later in the afternoon.
Cafe serving light lunches and snacks open until 2pm.
There may be a small charge for creative workshops to cover the cost of materials.
Booking is not required, just come along and join in!

Arts and Crafts workshops for adults
New Oriel Hall

A programme of free arts and crafts workshops from local artists and makers, most of whom will also be displaying their work in the exhibition. Workshops at various times, some repeated, some not.
3pm to 5pm only – Felt Flower Brooches with Funky Art House
Produce your own one-of-a-kind design. Learn the techniques of this versatile skill to produce your own upcycled textile brooch.

Easter Egg Hunt 2013!! @ Alice Park, Bath & Hillworth Park, Devizes, Wiltshire.

We have plenty of space available for both Easter Egg Hunts so brave the cold and come on down!! All that running around will warm you up! Hope to see lots of you over the next couple of days. Happy Easter from the Funky Art House Team.

Back for the Fouth year running our very popular East Egg Hunt. Add some egg-citement to your Easter day by joining in the Easter Egg hunts around the grounds of Alice Park to find the Easter chicks hidden eggs. Brand New Easter hunt this year in the lovely Hillworth Park, Devizes.
