New!! Glass Fusing for Adults

Carve out some me time to explore this fascinating craft. Spend a relaxing Friday morning learning about fused glass and all its wonderful possibilities! Design and make your own creations starting with learning how to cut glass, making test pieces then progressing on to fused jewellery, hangings or coasters and in the second half term working towards designing and making a small slumped bowl. You will learn the basics of working with sheet glass as well as inclusions, stringers, frits, powders and more. The workshop is ideal for both beginners and those with some glass experience.

Mindfulness and Art Workshops

Brand new for September!
Its been an extra stressful time recently for parents and children. Its entirely understandable that the pandemic might have left you feeling overwhealmed, frustrated, exhausted and worried about how to best care for your childs wellbeing.

The core objectives of the course are to enhance the general mental, emotional and social wellbeing of children by improving; attention, self-control, self-awareness, emotional regulation, gratitude, self-kindness and kindness to others

Your children will spend a relaxing Sunday learning mindfulness and taking their relaxed mind into mindful art activities. Often we will be exploring process art covering a wide variety of materials including drawing, pattern, painting, print, paper crafts, clay and more alongside mindfulness exercises, games, activities, videos and discussions. Total beginners very welcome, no need to have any previous knowledge of mindfulness or art.

Unfortunately we are unable to run our studio art classes at the moment. In the mean time we will be running small group classes online via zoom. A chance to keep creative and entertained at home during lockdown. Material packs will be sent to your home with most of the things needed for the creations.

The new term of after school art classes starts next week on wk/c 2nd November at Bath Artists Studios. A chance for Children to have fun, learn new artistic skills and spend time with peers in a relaxing, socially distanced environment. Take the opportunity to get creative, take a break from screens and technology and enhance wellbeing.

Surprisingly, now is a great time to reserve a trial session for one of our regular classes. We had just taken on a lovely new bigger studio, just before lock down. We have some big news….. we have moved!! Just around the corner! We got the keys to our new bigger studio last week, yeah!!. Spot the sink, bathroom hiding around the corner and even a small kitchenette!!
This means we can take more pupils so book online if your interested in any of our classes particularly Sat Art Club which has been fully booked for a while. Exciting times!
