Online Art Classes 2021:

Unfortunately we are unable to run our studio art classes at the moment. In the mean time we will be running small group classes online via zoom. A chance to keep creative and entertained at home during lockdown. Material packs will be sent to your home with everything needed for the creations.

Winter Term Art Classes

The new term of after school art classes starts next week on wk/c 2nd November at Bath Artists Studios. A chance for Children to have fun, learn new artistic skills and spend time with peers in a relaxing, socially distanced environment. Take the opportunity to get creative, take a break from screens and technology and enhance wellbeing.

Autumn 2020 Classes

The details for our Autumn 2020 after school classes can now be found on line at the following links:
-Ages 7-11 After School Art Club, Tuesdays 5.30-6.30pm
-Ages 11+ After School Art Club, Wednesdays 5.30- 6.30pmWe have really missed running our classes and seeing everyone but are finally looking forward to resuming classes again in September. We will be needing to make a few changes to keep everyone safe and to follow government guidelines. The main change will be that we are planning to run most classes from the larger gallery space in the main building of Bath Artists’ Studios. It is a lovely big space and is well ventilated so we will be able to create socially distanced work spaces for everyone. The main procedures can be found below. We will also be following all procesures set out by Bath Artists’ Studios that can be found at the following link: COVID19 prevention at Bath Artsits Studios.

Funky Art House Covid 19 Prevention Procedures: 
-Pupils will be asked to use hand sanitiser when entering and leaving the building which will be provided at the door.
-Seperate workspaces/desks for each pupil which will be two metres apart from each other.
-Seperate material and equipment packs for each pupil to be provided on the desks. Each pack will be left 72 hours before being used by other pupils and will be cleaned thoroughly.
-All areas will be cleaned between groups- desks, tables, handles, toilets etc.
-The space will be kept well ventilated where possible by keeping windows/ doors open.
-Parents will be asked to keep social distanced when dropping off and picking up.
-Pupils, parents, staff, suppliers etc will be told not to enter the setting if they are displaying any symptoms of the coronavirus.
-If a pupil or staff member test positive, we will have up to date contact information for everyone attending classes so NHS test and trace can speak directly to those that have been in contact to offer advice.

Trial Sessions

Surprisingly, now is a great time to reserve a trial session for one of our regular classes. We had just taken on a lovely new bigger studio, just before lock down. This means some of our fully booked classes now have spaces available. Of course, all our classes are postponed at the moment, but will begin again when we are able to. Big News !! New studio – Places avaliable on all classes.

We have some big news….. we have moved!! Just around the corner! We got the keys to our new bigger studio last week, yeah!!. Spot the sink, bathroom hiding around the corner and even a small kitchenette!!
This means we can take more pupils so book online if your interested in any of our classes particularly Sat Art Club which has been fully booked for a while. Exciting times!
Its half way through the term so a great time to try us out for less money! – All Sat Art Club and After School Art Clubs details are up online.

Feb Half Term Workshops 2020

Children’s February Half Term Art Club: Ages 7 -11, 9.30am – 3.30pm

Monday 16th February, £35 – Weather Art Design and construct your own kite. Learn watercolour techniques to create weather inspired paintings. Learn to draw people and create a weather dial.

Tuesday 17th February, £35- Architecture & Mosaic: Design and create a clay model house inspired by the architect Gaudi. Create a mosaic tile using ceramic squares and grout. Learn to draw 3D buildings.

Teen’s October Half Term Art Club: Ages 11+, 9.30am – 3.30pm
Wednesday 19th February, £38 – Animal Drawing and Sculpture:  Learn to draw animals with line drawing and texture techniques. Next, learn to create clay sculptures of animals.
