Children’s Summer Art Club 2015: Ages 7-11
10th – 14th August; 9.30am – 3.30pm, early and late pick up available. Ages 7-11, £35 per day including all materials @ Bath Artists’ Studios, BA1 3AJ.
Keep the kids entertained over the holidays by exploring a variety of arts and crafts in a real artists’ studio centre- mosaic, clay, textiles, print, drawing and more. A great way to spend the holidays having fun, making new friends & learning new creative skills.
As well as creating some fantastic items to take home there will also be the opportunity to take part in fun group art activities- creating drawings on the floor and walls, BIG art, tiny art, sand art, string art, junk art, outdoor art, mandala art, chalk art, spray art and more!
All materials included and all abilities welcome. Please bring a packed lunch.

Monday 10th Aug, £35 - Garden Mosaic & Nature Painting: Take inspiration from the artist Gaudi to create a wonderful piece of mosaic art for your garden using pottery and pebbles. Learn about the work of Constable & Turner and develop techniques to draw and paint landscapes. Fully Booked
Tuesday 11th Aug, £35 - Paper-Crafts & Illustration: Discover decopatch to create and decorate a one of a kind art journal. Next take inspiration from a local artist to develop illustration techniques and use these skills to create illustrated ceramics and fabric.

Wednesday 12th Aug, £35 - Clay Creations: Create a clay slump bowl and coil pot and decorate a ceramic plant pot using ceramic pens and paints. Fully Booked
Thursday 13th Aug, £35 - Felting, Sewing & Print: Use brightly coloured merino wool, embroidery and construction techniques to create a felted needle book. Learn about the artist William Morris to create block printed fabric which will be turned into colorful flag decorations.
Friday 14th Aug, £35 - Explore Modern Art: Learn about the modern artists Kandinsky, Mondrian and Jackson Pollock. Take inspiration from their ideas and techniques to create a final piece of art to be presented in a frame and displayed in the showcase at the end of the day.

Early & Late Pick Up: Early & late pick up can be arranged at a cost of £8 per hour. Please contact us with details to pre book.
