Children’s October Half Term Art Club 2015: Ages 7-11
Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th October ; 9.30am – 3.30pm, early and late pick up available.
Ages 7-11, £35 per day or £65 (£5 discount) if booking both days @ Bath Artists’ Studios, BA1 3AJ

Keep the kids entertained over the holidays by exploring a variety of arts and crafts in real artists’ studio centre- clay textiles, designing and more. A great way to spend the holidays having fun, making new friends & learning new creative skills. Funky Art House would like to invite you to enter our competition in association with Bath Artists’ Studios to create an imaginative piece of art work that explores the theme ‘Blue’.

All entries will be displayed as part of the annual ‘Open Studios’ event at Bath Artists’ Studios from the 25th-27th September- a great opportunity for all the young artists’ to show off their creations.

Its nearly Larkhall Festival time again which means free Funky Art House workshops!! Details below.

Sunday May 3rd
12.30 – 1.30pm FUNKY ART HOUSE: CHILDREN’S ART WORKSHOP Make a clay alien friend with a million eyes or three mouths. The only limit is your imagination! Open to children aged 6+. Please book by emailing art@funkyarthouse.co.uk.

Saturdays every other week; 11 Apr, 25 Apr, 9 May, 13 Jun, 27 Jun & 11 June; 3:30 – 5.00pm; 6 sessions £114 or £57 if paying in 2 instalments

The tutoring will start with a basic drawing course covering shading, line, tone, proportions, perspective etc. The tutor would then move onto help each pupil with their individual portfolios/sketch books using techniques from the drawing course as well as introducing other mediums such as painting. The tutor will also give guidance on research skills needed for the GCSE/A’Level syllabus such as researching and taking inspiration from other artists’.
