Open Studios @ Bath Artists Studios Sept 30th – October 2nd 2016

Free workshops! – Sunday 2nd October: 2pm-3.30pm. Learn how to develop characters and change their expressions to create an illustrated picture book. For Children aged 7+. Places are free but please email art@funkyarthouse.co.uk to book as spaces are limited. Workshops run in the Funky Art House studio at the Bath Artists’ Studios annual ‘Open Studios’ event.

Our annual Open Studios event commences on 30th Sept and this year its a special one because we are celebrating 20 years of BAS’ Foundation!

Friday:
- visitors will have the opportunity to come wander our building and check out the studios
- LIVE MUSIC on Friday evening
- BBQ and Bar

Saturday & Sunday:
- Visitors can come and chat to the Artists, have the opportunity to view studios, gallery exhibitions and take part in work shops.

- We are hosting 2 artists from KasposArt Assocoation who will have an exhibition in our Roper Gallery
- Our Partners at Pop up Docs will be screening a documentary film
- Funky Art house are running a workshop, perfect for kids and families!

Freelance vacancy to run Creative Hen Parties – Workshop leaders required

Are you creative? Enjoy teaching? Want to be part of an exciting small business? Due to our ever popular Hen Parties we are looking for freelance staff to join our team.
You must have some teaching experience and enjoy being creative. Most of the workshops are sewing based but anyone crafty is most welcome to apply. Full training will be given for each workshop.
You would need to be self employed, own transport would be desirable depending on the location of the workshop but not essential as some workshops are very central.
Most workshops are run on a Saturday and last for two to two and a half  hours. We pay £65 per workshop and a small amount for training. All workshops are in the South west and most tend to be Bristol or Bath based.

Keep the kids entertained over the holidays by exploring a variety of arts and crafts in a real artists studio center- clay, paper crafts drawing and more. A great way to spend the holidays having fun, making new friends & learning new creative skills. All materials included and all abilities welcome. Please bring a packed lunch.

We thought it might be helpful to let you know our children and teen holiday dates as a few of you have started to ask! Unfortunately we are unable to run February half term this year but are running workshops for all the remaining holidays.
